Job summary

Brigham Young University is seeking a Lighting and Technology Manager (part-time, 28 hours/week) to support the Department of Dance in performances and touring. The role focuses on stage lighting, technical production, and backstage operations across campus and touring venues.

You will mentor student crews, coordinate with CFAC, and help realize directors' artistic visions while ensuring safety and efficiency in rehearsals and shows.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years stage and theatre production experience.
• Familiarity with theatrical lighting, sound, video, and stage operations.
• Ability to design and implement artistic lighting designs.
• Familiarity with ETC Eos lighting consoles.
• Proficiency with PC/MAC operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design stage lighting for department performances.
• Program cues and operate lighting systems.
• Coordinate lighting, audio, and video needs with production team.
• Mentor student crew in basic stage tech.
• Lead stage management for selected productions.
