Empire & Co. in New York is seeking a Creative Specialist to support sales teams and clients in workstation, office, and accessory needs.

You will craft furniture specifications, create renderings, and develop packages for projects with pricing and lead times, while assisting the sales team and leading client/A+D presentations. The role requires 2–5 years design experience, strong aesthetics knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, CET, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or interior design.
• 2–5 years of design experience in design firms, furniture manufacturers, retailers or dealerships.
• Strong understanding of furniture aesthetics and interior design styles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Commercial furniture experience is a plus.
• Experience in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD and CET is helpful.
• Hedberg experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Furniture specification and application based on the original design intent.
• Create photo-realistic renderings and fly-throughs.
• Develop ancillary packages for price/lead-time requirements.
• Devise furniture solutions addressing look and feel with limited specs.
• Develop PowerPoint and Excel materials with product info, pricing, discounts, lead-times and warranties.
• Specify alternate products for RFPs to drive cost savings.
• Assist internal sales with requests for alternate products.
• Lead client and A+D presentations.
• Develop accessories packages to elevate spaces.
• Foster partnerships with manufacturer partners and know their aesthetics, capabilities and lead times.
• Identify and expedite escalated requests with urgency and professionalism.
