Creative Services Coordinator
Working within Advancement's Strategic Communications team, the Creative Services Coordinator (Marketer I) is tasked with a diverse set of responsibilities. Your role requires flexibility, proactivity, and a well-rounded set of communication and organizational skills. You will work closely with the University Advancement and Alumni Engagement teams to elevate Utah State University through philanthropy and engagement.

The position covers a broad range of printed and digital media projects. Essential competencies include:

Responsibilities
Organization and Planning – 50%
- Oversee, manage, and maintain ClickUp, serving as the project‑management gatekeeper.
- Guide client goals into actionable steps, enforce timelines, and secure approvals.
- Keep the creative team’s folders organized and move projects through production stages daily.
- Process invoices promptly and ensure accurate designations.
- Serve as the ClickUp technical expert, training staff and providing updates and strategies of use.
Creative and Strategy – 50%
- Write, edit, and proof marketing copy to ensure intent is clear across all advancement and alumni materials.
- Gather, organize, and decide on content from multiple sources to equip the team with necessary elements.
- Lead strategy for multi‑component campaigns with competing deadlines.
- Prepare files for print and coordinate with print, product, and mail vendors.
- Participate actively in creative concept development sessions.
- Use AI strategically as an aid, not a replacement for original thought.
- Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned within the Strategic Communications team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, public relations, business management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing ClickUp or a similar project‑management platform.
- Professional writing and proofreading experience.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and design/printing production.
- Excel proficiency.
