About the Role

This position offers hands‑on experience supporting the development, production, and fulfillment of point-of-sale materials across Boston Beer Company's portfolio of nationally recognized brands.

The Creative POS Design & Production Co-op will help manage custom and everyday point‑of‑sale requests submitted through MerchTank, supporting projects from initial intake through final production and delivery. The Co‑op will contribute to creative initiatives including point‑of‑sale materials, can designs, packaging updates, retail buildouts, brand activations, and other projects that support business and brand objectives.

This role provides a unique opportunity to combine creative design, print production, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑paced consumer packaged goods environment. The Co‑op will work closely with Creative, Brand, Marketing, and Sales partners while gaining a practical understanding of how creative assets support retail execution, field sales, brand strategy, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Custom and Everyday POS Requests

  • Coordinate custom and everyday point-of-sale projects submitted through MerchTank.

  • Manage projects from initial intake and creative development through production, fulfillment, and final delivery.

  • Review project requirements and collaborate with internal partners to clarify requests, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Help ensure completed materials meet project specifications, brand standards, and business needs.

Support Creative Design and Brand Initiatives

  • Assist with the design and development of point-of-sale materials, can designs, packaging updates, retail buildouts, and other creative assets.

  • Support creative projects that align with brand objectives and retail execution needs.

  • Work alongside brand designers to prepare, revise, and finalize project files.

  • Participate in creative reviews, project discussions, and other stages of the design process.

Execute Print Production and Fulfillment

  • Support the production of point-of-sale materials through the in‑house print room.

  • Print, cut, package, and prepare materials for shipment to field teams and other business partners.

  • Review completed materials for quality and accuracy before fulfillment.

  • Help ensure projects are produced and delivered according to established timelines.

Collaborate with Cross‑Functional Teams

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Creative teams to support project and business needs.

  • Respond to incoming requests and help identify effective creative and production solutions.

  • Communicate project updates, requirements, and potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders.

  • Build strong working relationships with designers, creative professionals, and cross‑functional partners.

Maintain Project Tracking and Operational Support

  • Manage project workflows and track assignments, deliverables, revisions, approvals, and deadlines.

  • Organize creative files, project information, and supporting assets.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to help ensure the efficient execution of Creative POS projects.

  • Identify workflow or production issues and assist with practical solutions.

  • Balance a high volume of projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or a related field and continue to be enrolled after the completion of their Co‑op.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with creative and cross‑functional teams.

  • Willingness to participate in both creative design assignments and hands‑on print production and fulfillment activities.

  • Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to develop new creative, technical, and professional skills.

Preferred Qualifications
