Qualifications

• 2+ years of scenic carpentry or related theatre construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with carpentry tools: table saw, miter saw, pneumatic fasteners, routers.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely on ladders or scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Construct, build, and repair scenic elements per blueprints and plans.
• Safely operate fixed and portable power tools and shop machinery.
• Assist with load-ins, set installation, and load-outs (strike).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Collaborate with Technical Director, scenic artists, and crew to meet requirements.
