Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a hands-on Field Technician in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role offers a daytime schedule and a chance to work on diverse restoration projects where creativity and skill are essential.

You will work on tubs, showers, tile, countertops and cabinets, emphasizing color matching and attention to detail. The position includes a company car for commuting, paid training, and opportunities to earn bonuses.

Qualifications

Experience of working with your hands in construction, manufacturing or a hobby.
Facility maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
Color knowledge and matching is helpful; color blindness disqualifies some roles.
Experience with tubs and showers, tile, countertops and cabinets is a plus.
Training is extensive; willingness to commit at least 2 years to the role.

Requirements

Experience of working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, manufacturing or even a hobby.
Having experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful, but not necessary.
It is helpful, but not necessary to have an art background. Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. If you are color blind then this is not the job for you.
Experience working with tubs and showers, tile, countertops and cabinets is a plus.
The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment.
