Job summary

A leading rehabilitation center in Glen Cove, NY is looking for a Recreation Assistant to develop and implement therapeutic programs. The ideal candidate will have a degree and be certified in therapeutic recreation, plus 1-2 years of experience. Qualifications

• Applicant must be a CTRS, LCAT or eligible for CTRS certification.
• 1-2 years experience in the field.
• Knowledge of MDS and other Therapeutic Recreation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs for residents to enhance well-being.
• Conduct daily assessments based on residents' care plans.
• Assist in planning and executing unit events.
