Utah Jazz is seeking a Creative Production Intern to join their creative services team. The role mainly involves shooting videos and photos for the Utah Jazz and other departments, requiring a passion for sports and creative storytelling.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the shooting process, basic editing skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects. This part-time internship is set to run from August 2026 to August 2027, requiring 20-30 hours a week.
Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth, franchises of Smith Entertainment Group (SEG), are looking for an aspiring Creative Production Intern to join our dynamic creative services team overseeing both sports teams’ pre‑production. This position will primarily focus on shooting a wide variety of videos, photos, and short‑form content for the sports franchise they are selected for, as well as other departments and teams within SEG with an emphasis on Jazz Youth, Mammoth Youth, and Jazz Bantam. This position will also supplement edits in conjunction with the post‑production team.
Part‑time, Internship
The right person must be well‑versed in the shooting process of telling concise, visually pleasant stories. Must be able to see a project from concept to completion and bring new ideas to the creative voice of the team. Should be able to combine passion for sports with video and photo production. Expect to work 20–30 hours a week, including weekends, from August 2026 to August 2027.
