Disney Live Entertainment is seeking a Communications intern to contribute to creative and strategic storytelling across owned and earned media, internal and external channels, executive communications, public relations, and CSR initiatives. The 6-month program runs January 2027 through June 2027 in Orlando, Florida, or Anaheim/Glendale, California.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited college/university.
Must include writing samples and a portfolio link on résumé.
Indicate preferred area(s) of placement on résumé.

Responsibilities

Write engaging blog stories, articles, press releases, and social media content for internal and external channels.
Draft executive communications such as scripts, bios, correspondence, and speaking points.
Produce content for employee-facing channels, including intranets, newsletters, and email distributions.
Contribute to content strategy by monitoring trends, identifying story angles, and developing pitches for diverse platforms and audiences.
Design visuals across infographics, slides, and branding assets.
Film, capture, and edit short-form videos and social media content.
Assist with photo/video shoots ensuring assets meet brand standards.
Support development of campaigns with visual concepts aligned to goals.
Support media relations activations and events; assist with media monitoring and analysis.
Coordinate logistics for media and influencer visits; track industry trends.
