Qualifications

• Previous experience as baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Knowledge of gluten-free baking, sugar-free baking, and ingredient limitations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Previous experience decorating cakes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Team player with strong leadership skills.
• Available for early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of desserts and sweets, including cakes, pies, cookies, breads, and pastries.
• Develop new and innovative recipes.
• Decorate cakes and baked goods.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas.
• Prepare custom orders.
• Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary.
• Supervise pastry assistants and bakers.
