Job summary

REEF Lifestyle LLC in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Manager, Creative Ops to lead the creative production lifecycle across campaigns. You will oversee a Production Coordinator, manage briefs, timelines, and budgets, and ensure brand standards are met.

This full-time hybrid role requires 5+ years in creative operations, strong cross-functional communication, and experience coordinating photo/video shoots. Expect travel up to 13% and a split of three days in the Carlsbad HQ and two days remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management, creative operations, or production management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Monday.com preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with photo, video, motion graphics, and production processes.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing timelines and business needs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing photo and video shoots, including location permitting and talent coordination.
• Familiarity with surf culture, lifestyle brands, or ecommerce environments.
• Experience managing in-house production studios and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end creative projects from brief to delivery.
• Lead a Production Coordinator and optimize production workflows.
• Maintain cross-functional communication across creative, product, and marketing.
• Create and manage project timelines, scopes, and budgets.
• Build weekly Creative Check-In meetings and track priorities.
• Coordinate vendor setup, POs, and contracts for shoots.
