Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing relevant creative work is required with application.
• Experience in marketing, communications, social media, graphic design, or related area preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and graphic layouts, branding, content creation.
• Photography and video creation/editing experience required.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across departments.
• Experience in animal welfare or nonprofit environment preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings/ weekends for events or opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for social media, website, email communications, newsletters, and marketing channels.
• Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, inquiries.
• Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual standards across channels.
• Capture and edit photos and videos featuring animals, staff, and programs.
• Help update website content and online animal/program information.
• Develop graphics, promotional materials, signage, digital content, and brand assets.
• Maintain organized marketing files, photography, video, assets, and materials.
• Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Assist with event promotion and provide marketing support before/during/after events.
• Track marketing performance and engagement to identify opportunities.
