Job summary

Lutron Electronics in New York City is seeking an Associate Art Director/Senior Visual Designer to lead the creative development and execution of marketing materials across 2D, 3D, photography, video, packaging, and display environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build market-leading visuals, while guiding a team to innovate and deliver campaigns and experiential spaces that showcase Lutron products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3.00 GPA.
• 10 years of creative leadership and art direction experience; team management preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and execution across print, digital, 2D, 3D, packaging, and environmental design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and project management tools.
• Experience with photography/video direction, motion graphics, or AI tools a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative strategy and art direction for integrated campaigns across 2D, 3D, photography, video, packaging, and display mediums.
• Provide creative direction to designers, 3D renders, photographers, videographers, and packaging teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and deliverables with project managers.
• Facilitate creative reviews, presentations, and approvals per brand standards.
• Monitor output quality and provide constructive feedback to meet brand and marketing expectations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic creative decisions.
• Maintain creative documentation including briefs, style guides, and archives.
• Drive creative innovation and explore new technologies and trends across design disciplines.
• Develop New York creative team skills, unity, and culture.
• Contribute to a positive, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
• Participate in recruiting creative talent across specializations.
