Job summary

Lutron Electronics seeks a Design Studio Manager in New York City to lead the Communications team, translating creative vision into executable operational plans. You will steer day-to-day NYC operations, coordinate with Conshohocken, and ensure brand consistency and high-quality output across offices.

You will partner with the Creative Director and Communications Director, mentoring designers and coordinators, while managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver on-brand, on-time work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.00.
• 8+ years in creative operations, project management, or creative team leadership.
• 5+ years leading creative teams in-house or at-agency with FF&E, automotive, or technology.
• Experience with budget management and maintaining brand consistency between core design teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Translate creative vision into operational plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with Communications Director on operational responsibilities, resource planning, and process alignment.
• Lead and develop creative professionals and project coordinators, providing mentorship and performance management.
• Manage creative operations including project workflows, resource planning, and capacity management.
• Coordinate cross-office design team to ensure brand consistency and unified execution across NYC and Conshohocken.
