Job summary

Ruppert Landscape seeks a Designer to develop high-quality enhancement designs for commercial landscape maintenance and installation customers. You will work with the branch team to prioritize design needs, conduct site visits to capture existing conditions, and present concepts to clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or architecture or equivalent experience.
• Four years of experience in landscape design and sales is preferred.
• Professional certification is a plus.
• Ability to develop creative and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Responsibilities

• Manage design workflow to provide complete proposals before bid deadlines.
• Communicate with internal team and subcontractors regarding pricing and availability of plants, site furnishings, and hard materials to estimate costs and timing.
• Prepare, log, and distribute proposal packages to Area Managers.
• Participate in regular branch meetings and complete additional duties or assignments as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Develop a clear understanding of Ruppert Landscape’s philosophies, goals, and financial position.
• Develop good working relationships with the branch team.
