Job summary

M & M Home Contractors Inc in Cologne, MN is seeking an Interior Designer / Project Coordinator to turn creative visions into reality while keeping projects on schedule and within budget. This dual role blends design flair with hands-on coordination for residential and light commercial projects.

You'll develop concepts, source materials, communicate with clients, and coordinate with contractors and vendors from concept through completion, ensuring design intent is realized and milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of interior design and/or project coordination experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, and material selections for residential and/or commercial projects
• Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgets
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to align design intent with construction execution
• Source and specify materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design standards are met
• Manage project documentation, purchase orders, and change orders
