Job summary

Chaminade University of Honolulu is seeking a Programming Specialist to assist in planning, advertising, designing, and supporting events coordinated by the Office of Student Engagement. This part-time student worker role up to 15 hours per week involves collaborating with campus teams to create engaging programs that reflect student interests.

Qualifications

• Part-time student worker position.
• Undergraduate status required (in good standing).
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute creative and innovative programs for students using student interest and past programming data
• Available to work during events; including occasional off campus, night, and weekend events
• Support and aid in the planning, execution, and growth of signature events
• Collect and analyze survey results from student participants at events
• Work closely with the marketing team to advertise programs and events through tabling, street team promotion, etc
• Work closely with information specialists to execute programs and events
• Motivate students and maintain excitement while promoting student engagement
• Identify faculty and staff members to promote to and collaborate with on specific events
• Keep up to date with campus events/activities across organizations and departments
