Job summary

The Marketing & Event Programming Intern will support Internera in developing and executing events across multiple client accounts and internal initiatives. This role involves contributing to event ideas, assisting with planning and logistics, supporting promotional efforts, and helping ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Creative mindset with ability to develop event ideas and solutions.
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and develop creative event concepts.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating event logistics (scheduling, materials, timelines).
  • Support execution of public, private, and promotional events.
  • Help promote events through social media, flyers, and outreach.
  • Assist with partnership and sponsorship research when applicable.
  • Work with local businesses and internal teams on event collaboration.
  • Support event setup, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Track event outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
