Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Watertown, NY is seeking an energetic team member to plan and coordinate in-store events and deliver exceptional customer service. You will guide guests through the store, help them find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will also engage with clients of all ages, support rewards enrollments, and participate in truck unloads, stocking, and store cleanliness tasks to uphold our brand promises.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent people skills.
• Experience with children and children’s events.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing crafts; perform face painting and activities.
