Fauxcades in Dallas, TX, seeks a Carpenter in our Event Fabrication department to construct and install scenic elements for event productions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, fabrication, and construction techniques, with the willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of woodworking techniques.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication machinery.
• Experience in remodeling or renovation is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install scenic elements for event productions.
• Use table saws, miters, track saws, air tools, and other equipment accurately.
• Read blueprints and interpret schematics for builds.
• Coordinate with Lead Carpenter and Project Manager on material needs.
• Maintain department stock and assist with inventory repairs and touch-ups.
• Be willing to cross-train and assist with installations as needed.
