Job summary

ITA Group in Atlanta, GA seeks a Creative Director for General Session & Keynote Experiences to lead the creative vision from concept to execution. You will guide a talented team delivering immersive experiences for Fortune 500 clients globally.

The role focuses on translating business objectives into compelling narratives, shaping keynote content, and overseeing presentation design, multimedia content, staging, and live production. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Creative Strategy, Event Production, Journalism, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of experience in creative direction, experiential marketing, live events, executive communications, or related creative disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading the development of keynote presentations, general sessions, conferences, or large-scale corporate events.
• Exceptional storytelling, messaging, and presentation development skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex business strategies into engaging audience experiences.
• Experience presenting and defending creative concepts to senior leaders and clients.
• Strong understanding of presentation design, multimedia content, staging, and live event production.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse creative and production partners.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with experience balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strategic thinker with strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and supporting onsite event execution as needed.

• Ensure excellence across storytelling, presentation design, multimedia content, brand expression, and audience engagement.
• Remain actively involved through content development, production, rehearsals, and onsite execution to solve challenges and protect creative quality.
• Contribute to new business opportunities through discovery sessions, proposal development, concept creation, and pitch support.
• Champion innovative, practical creative solutions that balance audience impact, technical feasibility, budget, and timelines.

What You’ll Do:

The Creative Director, General Session & Keynote Experiences leads the strategic and creative development of keynote presentations, general sessions, executive communications, and large-scale live event experiences. Serving as the primary creative partner to clients, this role translates business objectives into compelling narratives and audience-centered experiences that inspire, engage, and drive results. This leader establishes the creative vision from concept through onsite execution, guiding storytelling, presentation design, multimedia content, staging, and experiential elements. Working closely with clients, speakers, producers, writers, designers, and technical teams, the Creative Director ensures every aspect of the experience is aligned, impactful, and delivered with excellence.
