Job Summary

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Midtown Manhattan, requiring presence 5 days a week.

The Creative Development Producer develops creative concepts and production plans for branded livestreams, pre-recorded content, commercials, and social content. The role translates brand briefs and campaign objectives into executable creative concepts, develops production budgets and resource plans, and provides options that align creative scope with budget, timeline, and production requirements.

The Creative Development Producer works closely with pre-sales, account teams, Amazon partner teams, production, talent, and art teams to develop creative proposals and support the production development process. The role also supports RFP responses, manages creative development materials, identifies production efficiencies, and contributes to internal playbooks and best practices.

Essential Functions
  • Develop original creative concepts for shoppable branded livestreams, pre-recorded content, commercial deliverables, and related content in response to brand briefs and RFPs.
  • Translate brand objectives and creative briefs into concepts, formats, stories, and production approaches.
  • Develop production budgets and resource plans, including crew, talent, sets, equipment, post-production, and other production requirements.
  • Develop multiple concept options at different price points and adjust creative scope based on budget, timeline, and campaign objectives.
  • Evaluate creative concepts for production feasibility, resource requirements, and expected production value.
  • Manage multiple concurrent creative briefs and development projects across different brands and campaign types.
  • Partner with pre-sales, account executives, internal Amazon teams, production, talent, art, and other stakeholders to align creative concepts with campaign requirements.
  • Develop creative recommendations using available campaign, audience, performance, and market data.
  • Respond to RFPs and support the development of creative proposals and related materials.
  • Organize and maintain creative development materials, budgets, production information, and project documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve creative development processes and production efficiencies.
  • Contribute to playbooks, best practice documentation, business reviews, and other internal initiatives.
  • Monitor trends in live shopping, digital media, social content, e-commerce, and related entertainment formats and incorporate relevant trends into creative development.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Film, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in creative development, branded content, production, advertising, media, or a related field.
  • Experience developing creative concepts from a brief through production planning.
  • Working knowledge of production budgeting, resource planning, and production requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or creative briefs simultaneously.
  • Experience presenting or communicating creative concepts to internal or external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience with live broadcast, livestream, unscripted, shoppable, e-commerce, or digital content production.
  • Experience working in a creative agency, production company, in-house brand studio, network, or similar media environment.
  • Experience developing production budgets from the ground up.
  • Experience with Amazon Live, FAST, OTT, social commerce, or other digital commerce content.
  • Experience using AI tools for creative ideation, concept development, production planning, or workflow efficiencies.
  • Experience developing RFP responses, pitches, or client-facing creative proposals.
  • Knowledge of current digital, social, linear, live shopping, and pop culture trends.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a contract position. The expected schedule is based on business and production needs and may include extended hours to meet project deadlines.

Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office and production environment. The work environment may include moderate noise levels, computers, office equipment, and production-related activities.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required for business meetings, production activities, client engagements, or other business purposes.
