Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing is offering a Creative Design and Research Co-op/Internship for Summer 2027 in Torrance, CA. You will support the Styling team with concept materials, UX/UI graphics, and animations while collaborating across internal teams to mature projects through storytelling.

Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Product Design, Transportation Design, UX, or related field, with a 2.5+ GPA, and be available for 10 weeks at 40 hours per week;

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Product Design, Transportation Design, UX or related field.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA; transcript required.
• Sophomore status or higher; US driver’s license; own transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Create business cases for new product proposals (physical/digital).
• Support styling with concept materials, sketches, and data modeling.
• Assist with UX/UI graphics, animations, and meetings across teams.
