Creative Design and Research Co‑op/Intern – Spring 2027

This position provides experience in creative design and research for the Spring 2027 Co‑op/Internship session (January-April/May). Students are eligible for single or multi‑semester co‑ops and internships. Apply to the requisition that matches your major and semester.

About the Position

We include multiple departments: Auto Design and User Experience, Research, and Design.

Responsibilities

• Create business cases for new product proposals (physical and/or digital products, services).
• Work in tandem with Business Analytics consultancy.
• Support the Styling team with concept materials, sketches, and data modeling for entire vehicle or parts.
• Support the Styling team with Color, Graphics, and material proposals.
• Support the Styling team with User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) Graphics, and animations.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with internal teams to mature projects through animations, model building, and storytelling.
• Research North America trends and future customer insights.

Qualifications

• Strong coursework in Product Design, Transportation Design, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related fields.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• At least sophomore status (by credit hour) or above.
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (exceptions may be considered).
• Ability to secure transportation to and from work each day. Public transportation and ride‑share services are limited in some locations; co‑ops must have a reliable transportation plan.

Compensation
