Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook who will bring recipes to life with creativity and precision. You’ll work with fresh ingredients and equipment, exploring different cuisines and techniques while following safety guidelines and production standards.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, setting up stations, and cooking a variety of dishes with attention to portioning and presentation. A focus on food safety, teamwork, and customer-friendly service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Validated knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation per policy.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
