• Has a passion for cooking and preparing quality meals.
• Enjoys working with seniors and making a difference in their day.
• Takes pride in their work and pays attention to quality and detail.
• Understands the importance of food safety and sanitation.
• Is dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Has previous cooking or food service experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with meal planning, food preparation, and special dietary needs as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work environment.
• Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory or equipment needs.
• Work collaboratively with the Dining Services team to provide an exceptional experience for residents.
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and applicable local and state regulations.
