Aramark is seeking a Cook who brings recipes to life with fresh ingredients and creativity. You will follow production guidelines and safety procedures while exploring different cuisines and cooking styles to delight guests.

This role emphasizes teamwork, basic math, and food safety practices. Prior cooking experience is required and a food safety certification may be pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses utensils and operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams and uses various cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food per safety policies; cleans and sanitizes areas and equipment.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
