Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life in a fast-paced team setting. You will cook a variety of dishes, set up your station with ingredients and equipment, and ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout your shift.

The role requires open availability, including weekends and evenings, with opportunities to explore different cuisines and cooking styles while adhering to production guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with required ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients.
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Cook using various methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming.
• Portion and garnish food according to guidelines; store food properly.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils; maintain safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and uphold safety policies.
