You will support production guidelines, contribute to menu preparation, and ensure cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives and operates ovens, stoves and mixers.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams; uses various cooking methods on meats and vegetables.
• Arranges, garnishes and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food properly following safety policies and sanitation procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
