Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team. You’ll bring recipes to life, experiment with cuisines, and work with fresh ingredients and top equipment in a supportive environment.

You’ll follow production guidelines and safety procedures to ensure quality and consistency, while delivering friendly service and maintaining clean, organized workstations. Prior cooking experience preferred, with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Maintains food safety policies and sanitation.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Ensures security of company assets.
