Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, chop, and prepare food items as required.
• Safely use knives and a variety of utensils.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and cook with various methods.
• Plate and portion foods according to guidelines.
• Follow food safety policies and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist guests with a positive demeanor.
