Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team in New Jersey. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes, following recipes and production guidelines, while keeping work areas clean and safe. You’ll be part of a team that emphasizes quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

You’ll use different cooking methods, handle ingredients, and maintain high sanitation standards. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and apply diverse cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and food sanitation procedures.
• Ensure security of company assets.
