Job summary

Aramark is seeking a qualified cook to bring recipes to life using fresh ingredients and diverse cooking styles. You will work in a fast-paced environment, preparing meals per production guidelines while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

You will set up stations, measure ingredients, and operate ovens, stoves, and other equipment to deliver consistently quality dishes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Valid knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses different cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to guidelines.
• Stores food following safety policies and sanitation procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff.
• Adheres to safety policies including food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.
