Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will cook and prepare a variety of foods, following recipes and production guidelines, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

You’ll set up your workstation, measure ingredients, and operate kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. You should bring experience as a cook, basic math and communication skills, and a willingness to obtain a food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper handling, sanitation and storage.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
