Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life using fresh ingredients and creative techniques in a fast-paced environment. You will follow production guidelines, safety procedures and standardized recipes to deliver high-quality meals.

You will work with various cooking methods, set up a well-organized workstation, and contribute to excellent guest service while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and cook with various methods for meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines; store food safely.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; maintain guest-facing service with a positive demeanor.
• Follow Aramark safety policies including food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.
