Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will cook and prepare a variety of foods, follow production guidelines, and set up your workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.

You will handle food safely, use standard recipes, and maintain clean work areas while delivering friendly service to guests. Previous cooking experience and ability to obtain food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely uses utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food per guidelines.
• Stores food following safety policies and sanitation procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Maintains friendly customer service and positive demeanor.
