Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Validated knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, chopping, and slicing as required.
• Safely use utensils and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and apply various cooking methods.
• Portion and garnish food according to guidelines and maintain clean work areas.
