Job summary

Hard Rock International is seeking a part-time Cook for Kitchen Administration at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol. You will prepare a wide range of menu items, maintain a clean workstation, and support events while ensuring guest satisfaction and food safety.

This role requires basic food preparation knowledge, strong teamwork, and the ability to work holidays and weekends. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; culinary training or an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• Culinary apprenticeship or Associate’s Degree in Culinary preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Flexible shifts; able to work holidays and weekends.
• Basic food preparation knowledge and line work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods to be grilled, fried, broiled, baked, boiled, braised, or poached.
• Keep workstation neat and clean; ensure proper food storage and sanitation.
• Assist co-workers and support kitchen operations; may help with special events.
• Ensure equipment is safe and functioning; report hazards.
• Attend meetings and participate in team initiatives.
