Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and implement individualized plans and medication instructions.
• Must accurately record behavior and complete required forms.
• Must relate well with people with disabilities and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Must pass background checks as required by MSS and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and training for adults with autism and developmental disabilities in day training and habilitation programs.
• Plan activities and supervise individuals and groups at the center and during community outings.
• Assist participants in using a functional communication system and enhance independence with adaptive equipment.
• Pass medications and transport participants to and from the center and community sites.
