Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, various cooking methods and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use knives and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use various cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food safely per safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
