CAPITAL BRANDS GROUP TN LLC seeks an Experienced Cake Decorator to join our bakery team. You will craft cakes for birthdays, weddings, and events with buttercream, fondant, and piping techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes and timely delivery.

The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate client ideas into stunning edible art while upholding food-safety standards in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional cake decorating experience preferred.
• Proficiency in buttercream decorating, piping, writing, and decorative finishes.
• Experience with fondant, tiered cakes, custom designs, and specialty occasion cakes.
• Strong artistic ability, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow cake orders and customer instructions.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bakery supplies as required.

Responsabilités

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery products according to customer requests and established designs.
• Create custom cake designs, including buttercream flowers, piping, fondant work, writing, borders, and specialty decorations.
• Prepare and finish cakes for birthdays, weddings, holidays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
• Consult with customers to understand design preferences, themes, colors, flavors, and special requests.
• Ensure all cakes meet quality standards for appearance, taste, consistency, and presentation.
• Prepare icings, buttercream, fillings, and decorating materials as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary decorating station in compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Properly handle, store, label, and rotate bakery products and ingredients.
• Monitor inventory of decorating supplies and communicate supply needs to management.
• Complete customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Work collaboratively with bakers, bakery associates, and management to meet daily production goals.
• Assist with seasonal displays, promotional items, and new cake designs.
• Follow company policies, sanitation procedures, and health regulations.
