Qualifications

• Exceptional decorating skills with gel, icing, air brush, decorating kits, edible images, floral designs, and licensed character designs.
• Cake decorator certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in varying temperature ranges and handle soft‑serve ice‑cream products.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer‑service skills, good manners and punctuality.
• Knowledge of local health regulations and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare soft serve and Blizzard cakes, decorating with icing, edible images and lettering.
• Ensure all cake products meet Dairy Queen standards of quality.
• Prepare and decorate cakes according to customer specifications.
• Operate and maintain cake and soft‑serve equipment safely and hygienically.
• Maintain decorate cake inventory and display full for holidays and promotions.
• Take and fill customer cake orders promptly and professionally.
• Work as a team to ensure quality, service, cleanliness and value.
• Clean and sanitize the production area and equipment; follow PRIDE checklist.
• Assist with stocking and occasional outside duties as needed.
