Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions and to maintain the cake case during shifts. Weekend availability is required, with shifts from 6 AM–2:30 PM or 8 AM–4:30 PM, including Sundays through Saturdays.

You will manage cake orders, monitor dating and inventory, and uphold sanitation procedures while delivering friendly service to customers and collaborating with the bakery team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Work in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
