Job summary

The GIANT Company in Harleysville, PA is seeking a bakery team member to support cake decoration, frosting, and cake preparation during shifts. You will take and complete orders, maintain clean surfaces, and follow safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality.

Qualifications include legal work authorization, ability to read and communicate effectively, and a willingness to learn PPE and equipment usage. Prior experience is preferred; 4-hour or longer shifts are typical.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the company introductory period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and use of tools safely.
• Must perform all job functions safely and meet attendance standards.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prepare equipment and PPE at shift start.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes and decorate.
• Take orders, complete orders, and store in bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits.
