Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge for hospitality.
• Strong bartending experience in a large hotel setting preferred.
• Knowledge of mixology, garnishes, and beverage service including liquor, beer, and wine.
• Ability to deliver warm, engaging, and personalized service.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Proficiency with payroll/Micros/POS systems; Serve Safe certified; TIPs valid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest service excellence by supporting servers and anticipating guest needs.
• Know and explain cocktail/beverage menus; prepare requested drinks.
• Maintain bar standards; assist with setup/cleanup and health/sanitation tasks.
• Monitor inventory and prevent over/under production of beverages.
• Address guest concerns professionally and turn unhappy guests into returning guests.
• Stay informed about hotel offerings and local attractions for guest recommendations.
• Ensure safe and compliant beverage service in line with regulations.
• Assist with bar area setup and breakdown as needed.
