Job summary

PBS North Carolina is seeking an Associate Producer to support editorial, operational, and technical activities across pre-production, production, and post-production for multiple PBS NC projects.

The role involves story research, production planning, asset management, and final delivery for broadcast and digital platforms. Hybrid work requires on-site presence at RTP at least three days weekly, with UNC System employees living within NC and within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalency with four years progressive broadcast/media experience, one year supervisory.
• Proficiency with video tools and publishing for broadcast/digital platforms.
• Ability to coordinate production materials and deliverables across pre-, production and post- stages.

Responsibilities

• Support editorial, operational, and technical activities across production stages.
• Coordinate logistics, track deliverables, and manage production materials.
• Assist on set and in field as needed to support producers and teams.
• Contribute to final content and asset delivery for broadcast and digital platforms.
