Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System in Philadelphia seeks a Full-Time Creative Arts Therapist to join a peaceful, campus-based program. You will assess patients’ leisure activities and provide age-appropriate therapy groups using a combination of activities, arts modalities, and talk therapy to help patients develop safety and crisis plans.

Reporting to the Director of Therapeutic Services, you will establish behavioral goals in line with the program’s philosophy and work with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field with a creative arts therapy specialization.
• One year of behavioral health experience preferred.
• PA professional license preferred but not required; licensure in related arts therapy fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creative Arts Therapist assesses patients’ leisure activities and leads developmentally appropriate therapy groups using a blend of activities, arts modalities and talk therapy, helping patients create safety/crisis plans and behavioral goals aligned with Fairmount’s philosophy.
