Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• No professional work experience required
• CDE substitute authorization or teaching license
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic classroom management and planning skills
• Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations skills
• Ability to support programs designed to increase student achievement
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to understand, appreciate, and accommodate student diversity

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings.
• Create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunity and supervises student behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance instruction and student outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
