Job summary

Kidcreate Studio in Wixom, MI is seeking enthusiastic part-time Art Teachers to lead hands-on classes for children ages 18 months to 12 years. You’ll teach at the Wixom studio or bring creativity to local schools and community sites, creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful. Hours range from 10–35 per week with more during school breaks.

Flexible scheduling and weekend/evening shifts available. Must have reliable transportation and be 18+.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Available three or more afternoons per week during school year.
• Additional hours during school breaks, holidays, and summer programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging art classes, camps, workshops, parties, and events for children 18 months to 12 years.
• Teach in Wixom studio and mobile locations.
• Create a fun, safe, positive environment where every child feels successful.
• Encourage creativity and build confidence in young artists.
• Prepare, organize, and clean up art materials before and after each class.
• Follow lesson plans while bringing energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to every class.
• Maintain classrooms, supplies, and materials for upcoming sessions.
• Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, school staff, and team members.
