Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience teaching art or crafts to children and adults.

• Ability to plan age-appropriate lessons and manage groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate art lessons.
• Develop an appreciation for the fine arts.
• Teach fundamental art/craft concepts and techniques, such as color theory, perspective, and composition.
• Encourage students to be creative and provide individual and group instruction.
• Observe and evaluate students' work to assess their progress.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress.
• Develop list of supplies and equipment needed for lessons.
